Happy Cassoulet Day, Deli Fans! It’s the happiest day of the year in my kitchen, and I am so happy to share one of my favorite dishes with you today, because I love you and want you to be happy.

Duck & Chicken Cassoulet – 13.95
A rich, slow-cooked French bean casserole of tarbais, flageolet, and mayocoba beans, homemade chicken sausage and two kinds of duck sausages, duck confit, and several local vegetables. Served with homemade bread for sopping up the delicious juices, and a green salad.
Luxe Patty Melt – 12.95
Beautiful, hormone free beef patty on sourdough bread, with sauteed onions, havarti cheese, and porcini cream. With choice of side.
Clam Chowder In A Fresh Baked Bread Bowl – 11.95

Saturday, October 14, we are coming back to our American roots with one of our favorite comfort classics – Meat loaf! This time we will be serving a special potato casserole our Kitchen Manager Roxie has been dying to try out on you all.
Which leads us to Sunday Breakfast. Or as I like to call it THE MAIN EVENT. Sunday, October 15, Breakfast will feature our all-local smoked pastrami hash, with pastrami from Laughing Raven Catering, two eggs, and toast or a biscuit and gravy (made with our homemade sausage). All of that with unlimited drip coffee. Can’t beat that with a stick. AND AS A SPECIAL TREAT, the beautiful and talented woman who smoked the pastrami for us, Jodie Anderson of Laughing Raven Catering, will be our Breakfast Artists in Residence that day, working in our humble kitchen to make sure your breakfast is absolutely perfect. We are so proud and honored that she has chosen to work with us, and we look forward to many more collaborations in the coming months!
So, there you have it. My gift to you. A week of comfort food to warm your hearts and fortify you for the winter ahead. Because I don’t know about you, but I could use some comfort right now. That, and while my beach body may not have worked out like I had hoped this year, my Sweater Body could use a little fluffing up!
